It’s that time of year again…
No matter where I am in the world, when I’m not feeling well, there’s only one thing I want: my mom. She always makes me homemade chicken noodle soup whenever I’m under the weather. As I sit here, confined to my bed, writing this, the one thing bringing me back to life is that soup.
It’s the little things that add up to become the big things. I’m so grateful to have a mother who cares for me, no matter how old I get—hot tea, homemade soup, and her constant check-ins. We often take these small acts of kindness for granted until they’re not as easily within reach.
So, if you’re lucky enough to be near your mom, give her a hug.
(After you’ve fully recovered, of course!)
Lots of love,
xo
